Proposed 3 short to longterm concepts for SIG's next generation packaging.
I explored variations of how the cap could open & close with one hand. I printed 3D models in order to find the most intuitive affordance, ergonomic thumb position, optimum liquid flow, and a positive drinking experience that would allow an aseptic seal.
I explored through long term and short term solutions - ways cartons can be bundled securely (tape, plastic, aluminum paperboard) while using the least amount of material and maintaining the ease of use. The solution became using the excess aluminum paper board as a carrier.
