Pain Point Discovery

From in car vacuum wand testing I discovered existing vacuum wands had a number of user pain points.

Initial Form Exploration

Is it long with an angled end? Was it a short 90° wide mouth Head? A Hinge Head? Or a flexible Crevice Nozzle? Felt the design should have a thin head for pin point pick up for cracks, but wide head to maintain efficient pickup footprint when cleaning the entire dashboard.

Can we accomplish awkward reach with one less tool?

Ultimately abandoned due to complexity, cost, & clarity. Felt a dedicated fixed angle dashboard wand would be best in a kit without sacrificing the thin profile benefit of a crevice wand.

Balancing Airflow & Intuitive Fastening

Refining the inner form - balancing button release placement, and airflow, and manufacturability across multiple wand heads. The inlet would have an overmolded rubber tip.
